What are your accounts for?Īll accounts are for your personal use only. Gross is the interest rate used to calculate your monthly interest payments, before tax. We pay interest at a rate of 1% AER/1% Gross (variable) per annum on all current accounts.ĪER and Gross: The Annual Equivalent Rate shows the interest rate for a year, taking into account any interest payments made during the year. You can check the app at any time to find our current rates. Interest is calculated on a daily basis for all accounts. Where we do pay interest, we’ll pay it on the first calendar day of each month but if you close an account, we’ll pay interest earned to the date it’s closed. We may also choose to pay interest on an existing account at any time. If we pay interest on an account, we’ll tell you the interest rate when we open the account. If you add accounts, you can link it to one of them if you prefer, at any time through the app or by contacting us (unless we have told you something else).
